Haltia is located by the stunningly beautiful Nuuksio National Park, and the many hiking trails of the park await you right around the corner from the centre. The Haltia grounds also house the starting points of two circle trails Päivättärenpolku (1,4km) and Maahisenkierros (2km). You can take these trails for example for a short walk in connection with your visit to the nature centre. One of the circle trails, Päivättärenpolku, has a connection trail to the main entrance of the national park at Haukkalampi. The trails are located on lands owned by the City of Helsinki and the Solvalla sports institute. The destination information boards give you interesting and useful information on nearby nature.
