Finnish Nature Day celebration at Haltia and in Nuuksio

11 am - 9 pm


11 am Opening words and drawing up the Finnish flag for nature at Haltia


11.30 am to 1.30 pm Celebration programme at the Auditorium: nature photo presentations and book publication event etc.


The choirs in Nuuksio National Park1.30 pm guided treks to the concert of YL Male voice choir ja Tapiola choir in Nuuksio National Park! Guided treks start from Haltia or from other points inside Nuuksio and they all end up at Mustalampi concert venue before 3 pm. The list of the treks, the departure times, themes and organizers' information will be published soon! Registration will open on 7th of August. 


3 pm Choir concert at Mustalampi: YL Male voice choir ja Tapiola choir. The concert is open for all and is free. There will be extra services available at Haukkalampi due to the event, like food booths. Attention! Leave your car at home or at Haltia’s parking area - arrive instead by hiking or by shuttle-bus that will be departing from Haltia. 


4.30 pm Returning to Haltia by foot or by shuttle-bus 


Dinner beneath the sky6 pm tp 9 pm Candomino and Candomini choir’s Nature themed singalong event and dinner beneath the Nuuksio sky. Reserve your own picnic table and bring your own packed lunch OR reserve a three-course-dinner at Haltia’s Restaurant. Reservations can be made here > (Only in Finnish)


The singalong event will be hosted by Juha Lappalainen, the choirs Candomino and Candomini will join the event. 


9 pm The event will end and there will be buss connection to Espoo.
