Opening hours and tickets


8.1.-30.4. Customer service, information and nature shop Wed-Sun 10 to 5. Restaurant Haltia Wed-Fri 11 to 3 and Sat-Sun 11 to 4.


Exhibitions are closed until 3.2.

Entrance fee to all exhibitions in Haltia. The entrance fee includes all nature exhibitions and an audio guide (languages: English, Chinese, Swedish, Finnish).

Free entrance to the lobby, nature shop and to the restaurant. Don't forget Haltia's outdoor possibilities either: teepee and easy trails Päivättärenkierros (1.4km) and Maahisenkierros (2km).

Dogs and other pets

You're allowed to bring your dogs to the terrace of Haltia Restaurant (via the entrance door of Haltia Restaurant). Only guide dogs are allowed at the exhibitions and meeting facilities. If you'd like to visit Haltia's exhibitions, please leave your dog outside Haltia, by the birches and make sure they're chained. Thank you for your co-operation!
